For over 25 years, Bravehearts has been a leading voice in child protection. The impact of our work drives us towards our Vision of a world where people, communities, and systems all work together to protect children from sexual abuse. We are dedicated to creating a brighter, safer future where children are free from sexual harm.
Our mission is bigger than ever, and we're looking for an enthusiastic, highly organised Children's Safety Presenter to join our team and deliver our important safety message to children.
About the team
Ditto's Keep Safe Adventure program offers personal safety education for children in early years to lower primary, fully aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and the Australian Curriculum. Starring Bravehearts' lovable lion cub 'Ditto' and a specially trained presenter, deliver a fun, interactive show to schools and early learning centres. The show teaches young children essential personal safety skills using age-appropriate language, song, and dance.
Our Education team is an exceptional group of dedicated individuals. They work tirelessly to deliver each Ditto Show with energy, enthusiasm, and genuine engagement. Thanks to their commitment, an incredible 1,559,343 children across Australia have experienced the Ditto Show since its inception in 2006. Their care and kindness extend beyond the stage—they support one another with compassion and genuine respect.
About the position
There are 2 important parts to the role of Children's Safety Presenter. The first is to deliver our education program either in the mascot lion cub suit (non-speaking part) or as the facilitator who guides and leads the show and the flow.
