Job Description
Oaks Gold Coast Hotel is excited to expand our housekeeping department, with this dual role now available on a casual basis.

This dual role combines Guest Room Cleaning with Common Area Cleaning & Guest Support responsibilities.
You'll play a vital part in ensuring an exceptional guest experience by maintaining our high standards of cleanliness, while also assisting guests as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Room Cleaning
Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including making beds, vacuuming, and cleaning bathrooms to ensure a pristine environment.
Complete daily cleaning tasks efficiently within the allocated hours.
Collaborate with team members to meet cleaning targets and operational goals.
Common Area Cleaning & Guest Support
Clean and maintain all shared guest areas to the highest standards, ensuring spaces remain hygienic and visually appealing.
Assist with after-hours guest enquiries, while addressing issues promptly.
Operate specialised cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively (with full training provided).
Build positive, professional relationships with guests, colleagues, and contractors.
Shift Details (subject to change)
Rotating roster across Monday to Sunday
Must be available to work weekends
Shifts starting between 8:00 am and 9.00 am
Hourly Rates (excluding superannuation)
Monday – Friday: $***** per hour
Saturday: $***** per hour
Sunday: $***** per hour
Qualifications
Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles will be highly regarded.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Basic understanding of safe handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and equipment (training will be provided).
Good physical fitness and stamina, with the ability to perform repetitive tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
Professional and clear communication skills to interact with guests, team members, and contractors.
Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
A positive and proactive attitude with a strong work ethic.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
