AVRO SheetMetal has two positions available for SheetMetal workers:
We are looking for a Slitter Folder machine operator to join our crew, based at South Albury, NSW. The mandatory skills required are as follows:
* Experience in use of Slitter Folder machine in providing quality output
* Operation of Forklift
* Being able to lean and work out complex designs
* Punctuality is important as is a professional approach to all tasks
* Provide maintenance and quality control for all machines and products
* Being able to work as part of a team and have the initiative to work alone at times
* Further training and development would be provided for the right candidate
In addition, we are looking to offer an APPRENTICESHIP position for an eager person interested in light SheetMetal fabrication and engineering. Tasks will include, but not limited to:
* Production of various rainwater goods/sumps/rainheads/droppers/door skins/welding and operating a range of machinery throughout our factory environment
* Must be eager to learn, be punctual and have a professional approach to work with a eye for key detail
