Asset Assessment Officer
City of Wagga Wagga is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Asset Assessment Officer to play a key role in assessing and maintaining the quality of Council's infrastructure network. Working within the Asset Assessment Team, this position supports the sustainable management of Council's civil assets that help keep our community connected and services running efficiently.

Your New Role
Undertake surveillance and condition assessment inspections across Council's civil infrastructure network, capturing and analysing data on defects, risks, failures, and maintenance needs.
Respond to customer service requests and investigate reported issues, ensuring all actions align with Council's service and reporting protocols.
Ensure the accurate and timely upload of asset assessment data to the Asset Management System to inform future planning and investment decisions.
Assist in the development and implementation of condition assessment policies and procedures for specific asset groups.
Support management in developing operational, service, and maintenance programs, including scoping and preparing cost estimates.
Contribute to the strategic planning and long-term sustainability of Council's asset base.
Qualifications and Skills
Qualifications relevant to the role, e.g. Certificate III Information Technology or Spatial / Environment.
Class C Driver's Licence.
General Construction Induction Training Card (White Card).
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Asset Management (Desirable).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Solid time management, planning and administrative skills.
