Are you looking for a new challenge in the mortgage industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a Loan Assistant to join our team. In this full-time role, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and loan support for our growing mortgage business.
Key Responsibilities
* Process and manage residential mortgage loan applications from start to finish
* Gather and prepare customer supporting documents
* Liaise with customers, real estate agents, solicitors and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth loan application process
* Prepare loan documents and submissions for loan approval
* Provide timely updates and communicate effectively with customers throughout the loan process
* Maintain detailed records and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of loan processing workflows and procedures
Requirements
* Proven experience in a loan processing, customer service or administration role within the banking/mortgage industry
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience in loan processing or mortgage industry is required
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure to meet deadlines
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders
* Proficient in using mortgage application and customer relationship management systems
* Sound knowledge of mortgage lending processes, regulations and compliance requirements
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills
* Australian work authorisation is required for this position
