We are looking for a skilled Senior Network Security Engineer with experience in Cisco Routing and Switching, Cisco ACI, Palo Alto Firewalls, Firewall as a Service, Secure Web Gateway, Prisma Cloud Access, Cisco Wireless, AWS Network, Azure Network, Cloud Integration, load balancing, automation, CDN, WAF, Certificate Management and Cisco SD-WAN technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network operations and possess relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, PCNSA, or Cloud Network certification, along with knowledge of vulnerability management for network devices, including wireless, cloud, data centre, and branch networks.
As part of the role, the work will involve incident management, day-to-day operations and maintenance, and upgrading of HCF network devices. The role will also require creating and maintaining network operations documentation. The position will adhere to the NIST and other HCF security controls to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
Skills
* Responsible for managing network operations and implementing security controls to safeguard data and assets across the network.
* Providing tier 3 and tier 4 support for network infrastructure, including troubleshooting and resolving incidents and service requests.
* Designing, deploying, configuring, installing, and maintaining Cisco routers, switches, and other networking devices.
* Designing and deploying the configuration of Cisco ACI fabric to ensure high availability and performance.
* Configuring and managing Palo Alto Firewalls, including policy management and threat mitigation.
* Managing and troubleshooting network tasks, including Cisco Wireless/Cisco ISE and branch network.
* Supporting SD-WAN solutions using Viptela technology to ensure efficient and reliable connectivity for branch offices.
* Configuring Citrix/F5/NGNIX/AWS/Azure Load Balancer, including policy management and monitoring.
* Understanding Network Maintenance and Lifecycle (EOS/EOL) controls to provide timely insights.
* Collaborating closely with 3rd Party and Managed Service Provider (MSP) providers and vendors to achieve operational objectives.
* Participating in network capacity planning and performance tuning activities.
* Creating and maintaining documentation related to network configurations, processes, and procedures.
* Performing network vulnerability management and mitigation strategies.
* Preparing operations handover documents to provide clear and comprehensive instructions for the support team.
* Conducting data center/site visits, performing audits as needed, handling escalations, and prioritizing issues.
* Maintaining network documentation for changes and designs.
Essential
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
* 8+ years of experience in network operations roles, preferably in a large-scale enterprise environment.
* Solid understanding of Cisco Routing and Switching technologies, including VLANs, OSPF, BGP, and STP.
* Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI fabric, including fabric discovery, policies, and integration with external services.
* Proficiency in configuring and managing Palo Alto Firewalls, including PAN-OS and Panorama.
* Experience with Cisco Wireless technologies, including Cisco Aironet and Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers.
* Familiarity with SD-WAN solutions, particularly Cisco Viptela, including configuration and troubleshooting.
* Familiarity in Akamai and AWS CDN, WAF, Cert management, DNS Hosting.
* Experience in cloud networking (AWS & Azure), load-balancers.
* Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE or equivalent industry certifications.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
* Network Vulnerability management and mitigation techniques.
* Understanding of AWS Cloud and on-prem Network Security.
* Service oriented, adaptable, self-governing, self-motivated, co-operative
* Ability to meet agreed timeframes and commitments.
* Knowledge of cloud networking technologies, such as AWS or Azure networking.
* Experience with network monitoring and management tools, such as SolarWinds or Cisco Prime Infrastructure/Cisco DNAC and/or Logic Monitor.
* Understanding of ITIL framework and experience working in ITIL-based environments.

* Understanding of DevOps and CI-CD Pipeline
* Automation Programming (Ansible/Python etc)
