About the role
We are seeking a Casual Medical Receptionist to join our wonderful team of Medical Receptionists at our Brooke Street Medical Centre in beautiful Woodend. This role is perfect for someone who has attention to detail, high-level communication skills, a 'can-do' attitude, with the flexibility to cover planned and unplanned leave as required. We wholeheartedly believe that Brooke Street Medical Centre has an incredible team of staff and always puts patient care at the centre of everything we do.
In this role you will:
* Deliver exceptional patient service at all times
* Efficiently manage patient data, appointments and follow procedures
* Provide a seamless service to patients whilst ensuring clinic operations, and Doctor workload is effectively managed at all times
* Process patients billings/receipts
* Assist Doctors with day to day administrative support and take an active part in working closely with other team members to manage daily tasks
* Function in a highly organised and time-efficient manner at all times
What you will bring
While experience is not necessary, you will:
* Have proven experience in a customer service environment;
* Display empathy and understanding;
* Understand client and staff confidentially;
* Work with integrity and be reliable;
* Have the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time;
* Be committed to the brand and working arrangements; and
* Experience and/or knowledge of Best Practice, practice management system software will be highly regarded but not essential;
* Have strong written and verbal communication.
