Your new employer is a well-known leading Australian brand which is situated in Western Sydney. This exciting business has grown over the last few years and has shown no signs of slowing down. This employer is currently seeking a Payroll Officer to join their friendly team. You will be working within a high-volume, quick-paced environment with a great team culture.
About your current role:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this full-function role will be responsible for managing payroll for multiple manufacturing and distribution sites. Working in a small team you will cross-train and alternate sites around to be continuously challenged. Some responsibilities include: but are not limited too;
Processing timesheets for weekly payments
Managing monthly salary payments
Handling and resolving payroll queries
Processing payroll adjustments
Setting up new starters and updating termination paperwork
Updating employee details and changes
Month end reporting
Annual PAYG reports
Working closely with HR
About You:
To be successful in this position you will ideally have exposure to the following:
A proven track record in a full-function role
Experience with a time and attendance system
Knowledge and understanding of Australian employment law
Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with relevant departments
Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Experience using large payroll systems
