Job Overview
The Australian Federal Police is seeking a Team Leader to join their Intelligence Team.
This role involves leading and managing an intelligence team, developing strategies and plans for analysis, and providing intelligence products and briefings.

* Lead and manage an intelligence team engaged in analysis of collected and collated information to produce and disseminate intelligence.
* Develop strategies and plans for an intelligence team to provide tactical, operational, and strategic analysis to influence critical decision making.
* Provide intelligence products and briefings to operational areas, senior management, and other cooperating agencies.
* Support and develop team members in their intelligence professional development and coaching and mentoring team members in their leadership development.
* Build and sustain mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external networks, particularly key partners across law enforcement and intelligence agencies.

* Australian citizenship at the time of application.
* Negative Vetting 2 security clearance or ability to obtain one.
* Extensive knowledge and understanding of intelligence concepts and methods.
* Proven ability to lead and manage a team of intelligence practitioners within a law enforcement agency, intelligence, defence, federal, or state government agency.
* Proven ability to set the strategic direction of an intelligence team and deliver operational and organisational outcomes.

This role attracts a composite allowance in recognition of expanded working hours, normal patterns of attendance, and shift patterns that are required under the Operations working pattern.
