Paynes Rise is a family run vineyard and cellar door, cafe/restaurant & function venue. We offer a relaxed atmosphere and pride ourselves on our award winning wines. Our kitchen offers an a la carte lunch menu Thurs- Sunday. We also have a strong focus on private functions and events. We have a great team that enjoy the fast paced environment. We are currently seeking a fulltime chef to join our team for mid-week and weekend 9-5 shifts. Very attractive hospitality hours.

Qualifications & experience
Have previous experience in this role.
* Have a Certificate IV / III in Commercial Cookery or higher and Food Handlers Certificate.
* Competent knowledge of food allergy and dietary requirements.
* Management and training of kitchen staff.
* Experience and knowledge in modern cooking trends.
* Ability to work independently and well within a team.
Tasks & responsibilities
* Menu development, stock control, ordering and menu costing.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
* Great communication skills with a friendly and approachable manner.
* General kitchen operations, upkeep and maintaining equipment.
* A commitment to producing consistent results and a passion for producing high quality food.
* General food prep and production of menu.
* Keeping a clean kitchen and work environment.
