We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Trade Qualified Painter to join our expanding team. If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for delivering high-quality painting services, we want to hear from you!
About the Role:
As a Trade Qualified Painter, you will be responsible for providing a full range of painting services on various residential, commercial, and industrial projects throughout Townsville. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Cleaning and preparing surfaces for painting (e.g., sanding, filling, patching).
* Applying paints, varnishes, stains, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
* Mixing and matching paints to achieve desired colours and textures.
* Applying finishes using brushes and rollers
* Defect rectification with attention to detail
* Ensuring a high standard of finish and attention to detail.
* Minor plasterboard repairs (fixing & flushing)
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
* Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
* Working on call as required.
Essential Requirements:
* Trade Qualification in Painting and Decorating.
* Proven experience in all aspects of painting.
* Ability to clean and prepare surfaces to a high standard.
* Full open driver's license.
* Ability to pass a police check
* Ability to pass a pre-employment physical assessment, and drug and alcohol test.
Preferred Requirements:
* Working at Heights ticket.
* Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket.

* Reliable and punctual.
