The Opportunity
As our business continues to grow, Survey Management Solutions is seeking a skilled Monitoring Surveyor to join our team in Adelaide. This is a great opportunity to be part of a supportive, forward-thinking company working on a wide range of exciting projects.
Responsibilities include:
1. Monitoring Setup & Calibration – Establish new monitoring points and complete baseline measurements
2. Monitoring Observations – Complete settlement observations throughout the project using Digital Level
3. Monitoring Observations – Complete traverses and observations for monitoring prisms using Total Station
4. Data Analysis & Interpretation – Process field observations and submit daily data reports
5. Collaboration with Project Team – Work closely with the project team to stay ahead of project requirements
6. Technology & Equipment Management – Operate and maintain advanced survey equipment, ensuring all tools and devices are in good working condition and compliant with relevant standards
7. Compliance & Safety – Ensure all work procedures comply with project and state requirements

What We Are Looking For:
A person with survey experience eager to join a developing team in emerging markets.
Requirements:
* Hold relevant qualifications in Survey, Spatial Science, and/or Geometrics.
* Experience with Total Stations, GPS Equipment, Digital Levelling, and Survey Computation Software
* Effective communication skills with stakeholders
* Understanding or exposure to Civil Engineering or Construction
* Knowledge of survey monitoring procedures
* Sound Workplace Health and Safety knowledge
* Team-oriented and self-motivated
* Commitment to high-quality customer service and outcomes
