Peri-Operative Services Integration Project Officer is a role for a professional facilitator who will provide leadership, project management and oversight in the planning, implementation and evaluation of operational planning projects for Perioperative services with the amalgamation of Bacchus Marsh - (BM) (formerly known as Djerriwarrh Health Services) and Western Health.
The role will be required to work collaboratively across Western Health and Bacchus Marsh to ensure planned deliverables are achieved in an effective and efficient manner.
**The role will involve the following key components**:
- Work with the POCC transition team to identify issues to ensure the safe transfer of Per-Operative Services to BM operating theatres
- Work collaboratively with existing Bacchus Marsh Surgeons, practice managers and Peri-Operative team to transition waitlists to the central public waitlist at Bacchus Marsh Hospital.
- Develop clear processes to support safe and comprehensive sharing of patient information across the Western Health and BM Sites
- Assist with the review of current policies, procedures and guidelines at both health services and the integration of these as a part of the transition.
- Liaising with and maintaining channels of information sharing between medical staff, nursing staff, and Allied Health to support the operational implementation and practice changes associated with changes to PPGs.
