Responsibilities
* Mobilise and demobilise blasting hoppers/spray pumps and encapsulations
* Abrasive blast, ranging from a whip class SA 3 on ferrous and nonferrous substrates using both garnet and steel abrasives
* Hand/mechanical preparation of repair areas using orbital sanders and MBX's
* Brush/roll stripe coats as required
* Using mainly airless spray, apply up to 5 coats systems required DFT's/specifications
* Application of inorganic zinc's, epoxy zinc's, high build epoxies, antifouls and acrylic polyurethanes
* Remediate areas marked up by quality inspectors to meet the requirements of clients' specification
* Keep a safe and tidy work area and product storage room
* Perform other general duties if required
Qualifications
* 3-5 years previous experience within the industry
* Airless spray and blasting experience
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
* Trade Certificate in Painting (desirable)
* Willing to travel to our Tomago facility
