**McLean Farms is in search for a Project Administrator to join our team.**
McLean Farms Administration Pty Ltd is a diversified family-owned agri-business based in the Darling Downs, specialising in livestock and food production. The business is involved with a broad range of other agricultural enterprises such as grain, compost and feed mill operations. We are currently seeking a Project Administrator to join the team in a full-time capacity based in Pittsworth, QLD.
Salary range: $70,000 to $75,000 per annum.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Compile business cases with the relevant supporting documentation to promote projects for the business.
- Facilitate weekly project progress meetings, and address actions accordingly.
- Attend and facilitate on-site meetings
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain best prices and accurate information to ensure pricing is correct.
- Communication with engineers regarding matters related to the projects during the design/implementation stages.
- Ensure accurate budget tracking in each category of the projects.
- Involvement in contract setup with suppliers/contractors.
- Manage and report on site cost variations/savings.
- Attend and at times facilitate on site meetings with contractors/engineers.
- Ensure biosecurity and WHS requirements are always adhered to by all parties.
- Monthly reporting on project figures and cost information for monthly manager and board meetings.
- Use initiative to deal with sometimes complex scenarios and provide information/advice to direct supervisor.
- Coordination with import agents to facilitate shipping container deliveries.
- Monitor and report on project progress.
**Requirements**:
- Relevant tertiary qualification or experience in the construction industry.
- Current Class "C" driver's licence and clean driving record.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated time management, attention to detail, self-motivation, and professional skills commensurate with the role.
- Competent computer skills with Microsoft Office suite utilising Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Projects.
- Demonstrated customer service skills and high-level communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills including negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
**Advantageous**:
- Engineering qualifications or project management (preferably Civil or Project Engineering).
- Experience/qualifications as a Contracts Administrator.
- Accounting background/qualification.
