Job Opportunity: Seeking a skilled Sales Professional to drive growth in the seafood sector.
This role offers the chance to take ownership of an existing portfolio and help expand market presence across Western Australia. As a key member of our trading team, you will manage and grow a seafood product range across foodservice and wholesale channels.
About the Role
This position is responsible for driving sales, sourcing products, negotiating supply terms, and managing relationships across Western Australia. You'll work closely with existing accounts to support ongoing revenue and margin growth.
Reporting locally into a Senior Trader and nationally into the Trading Manager, you'll have the autonomy to manage your territory while accessing strong mentoring, onboarding, and product expertise.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage trading activities across a designated customer and supplier portfolio
* Sources, negotiates, and procures products to meet customer demand
* Achieves agreed revenue, margin, and volume targets
* Monitors market activity to identify new trading and growth opportunities
* Maintains strong supplier and customer relationships
* Conducts customer reviews and reporting to support upsell and cross-sell initiatives
About You
* 2+ years of experience in trading, sales, or account management in the seafood industry
* Understanding of local seafood supply chains, handling, and/or cold chain logistics
* Strong negotiation skills with a competitive mindset
* Comfortable working autonomously and on the road
* Confident presenting to customers and stakeholders
