Mental Health Clinician - Darwin

The Role
As a Mental Health Clinician, you'll provide focused psychological strategies, counselling, assessment, and case management to clients across individual, couple, family and group settings. You'll work with clients experiencing a range of mental health concerns, applying trauma-informed, client-centred approaches. The role includes liaison with other health providers, participation in case reviews, and contributing to group programs and service initiatives.
What You'll Be Doing
* Deliver high-quality clinical services including assessment, risk management, counselling and referrals
* Develop and maintain care plans, progress notes and clinical documentation
* Participate in regular case reviews, supervision and ongoing professional development
* Support group program delivery and community-focused initiatives
* Work collaboratively with internal clinicians, external providers and client support networks
* Assist with intake assessments and regional service coordination
What We're Looking For
* Registration as a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or membership with AASW / PACFA / ACA
* Experience working with DVA or ADF clients or a personal connection to the ADF is highly desirable
* Strong skills in trauma-informed assessment, risk formulation, brief intervention and clinical documentation
* Excellent communication, judgement, and emotional intelligence
* Ability to work with vulnerable and complex client presentations
* Australian Citizenship (APS requirement)
* Ability to obtain relevant Working With Children / Vulnerable People checks and baseline security clearance
