About the Role
Strait Link Logistics is seeking a motivated and organised Weekend Supervisor to oversee operations and coordinate teams across weekend shifts.
The Weekend Supervisor is responsible for coordinating all operations across multiple areas of Strait Link Logistics during weekend shifts. This role provides critical operational oversight, ensuring continuity of service, efficient workflow management, and effective support for day-to-day operations during weekday shifts as required. The position plays a key role in scheduling, communication, safety, compliance, customer service, and operational optimisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support weekend teams across operations
* Coordinate drivers, forklift operators, and scheduling
* Monitor freight movements and ensure on-time delivery
* Allocate vehicles, labour, and resources efficiently
* Conduct safety briefings and maintain compliance (NHVR & CoR)
* Respond to operational and customer issues
* Complete reporting, manifests, and shift handover
Desired Skills and Experience
* Experience in transport/logistics operations
* Strong leadership and decision‐making skills
* Excellent communication and organisation
* Ability to work under pressure and solve problems
* Knowledge of NHVR & CoR requirements
* Experience supervising or leading teams
