Deputy Director General Building, Energy Safety and Service Delivery
Band 3 $291,037 - $321,409 per annum (plus 12% super)
This is a five (5) year fixed term opportunity with an attractive remuneration package.
We are looking for an exceptional leader to take on this critical role to deliver significant contributions to the Western Australian Government and Western Australian community.
As the Deputy Director General you will provide high level strategic direction and leadership for the Building, Energy Safety and Service Delivery Group, by driving strategic direction, championing initiatives and prioritising the safety of the WA community.Under your leadership, your Group will set and monitor technical standards for building and plumbing services, electricity and gas networks, and consumer installations while focusing on strategic customer service delivery.
Interfacing between government, industry and community stakeholders, you will actively promote strategies, policies and systems that provide strategic direction to the group, department and state. You will ensure alignment with government objectives and advancing the reform agenda, whilst monitoring objectives and performance to ensure success. As the Deputy Director General, you will provide high level advice to the Minister, Director General and Executive Leadership Group.
As a member of the Corporate Executive team, you will be responsible for:
·providing high level strategic direction and professional leadership;
·providing executive level oversight, clear accountability and delivering LGIRS' strategies;
·actively promoting the coordination and integration of efficient and effective corporate systems to achieve corporate objectives and outcomes;
·formulating short to long-term strategic and operational plans and related outcomes; and
·efficiently and effectively allocating and using resources within the Group to achieve outcomes.
