**Job description**:

- **Labour hire - 12 months contract with 24 Months extension options**:

- ** Location Canberra - 5 days per week (estimated 40 hour week)**:

- ** The successful applicant must be an Australian Citizens with either a current Top Secret Positive Vetting (TSPV) security clearance OR have held a TSPV in the previous 12 month period (which has since been downgraded).**

**About the Organisation**
Our Federal Government Client are responsible for delivering cutting edge capabilities to support Cyber and Enterprise requirements and are going through a large scale transformation program of work large scale transformation program of work

As part of this program, the Enterprise Technology Division requires a
**Requirements Manager** to support a strategic project focused on delivering REDSPICE program outcomes through digital and technological means.

The TS Branch is responsible for a range of activities that will consist of:

- Delivery of new capability;
- Enhancing and modernising existing capability; and
- Delivery of the developed capability as a service to a wide range of National Security Community agencies.

**About The role**:
The Requirements Manager will work directly to the Lead Project Manager and be accountable under general direction, to elicit, investigate, analyse, and document requirements for the VIPCOMMS project, and will contribute to the definition of multiple tranches of work. This person will work with Business Stakeholders, Project Managers, Project Support Officers, Systems Architects, security stakeholders and other groups as required, to identify and develop requirements and business benefits for the VIPCOMMS project.
- Conduct requirement elicitation, investigate requirement use cases, analyse and define requirements and develop/update specifications and other requirements documentation.
- Conduct requirement traceability and prioritisation activities, and determine the feasibility of individual requirements in order to support the design of elements of the system.
- Engage with a range of key stakeholders to communicate expectation of requirements, and to identify and develop requirements and business advantages for the project.
- Manage the continuous business improvement process for the project office and manage the implementation of a Benefits Realisation and Change process.
- Maintain accurate project records to comply with departmnet's record keeping policies and audit activities.
- Undertake knowledge transfer relating to activities under the project to Commonwealth Officers.

**Skills & Experience**:

- Proven experience demonstrating responsibility in above role.
- Experience working in a project environment employing systems engineering practices for requirements development.
- Ability to work cohesively and communicate effectively with other project team staff and stakeholder groups.
- Previously worked with Federal government like Department of Defence, Australian Signal Directory or any Cyber projects will be highly desirable.
