About Our Mental Health Nurse Role
Unit 2 at Monash Health Dandenong is a 25-bed inpatient mental health unit providing short-term care to consumers aged <18 who require management during an acute phase of illness.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and families/carers to provide therapeutic interventions and support recovery.
Our ideal candidate will have a patient-centred approach and be committed to recovery-focused care. They will also possess a strong understanding of the Mental Health & Wellbeing Act.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* demonstrated experience within an inpatient mental health setting
* current registration with AHPRA
* relevant working rights/visa
* a post-graduate qualification in mental health
