The opportunity
Delaware North Australia is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Head Office team based in Docklands, Melbourne. As a Senior Accountant, you will report to the Finance Controller and play a key role in managing financial activities across the organization, with a focus on payroll accounting, compliance and reporting. You will support accurate and timely statutory reporting, assist with internal and external audits, and work closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure financial and policy compliance.

This is a full‐time role on a 12‐month contract.

What will you do?
* Support payroll accounting activities, including reconciliations and compliance requirements
* Monitor financial transactions to ensure accuracy and adherence to internal policies
* Assist in the preparation and delivery of statutory and regulatory reporting
* Support internal and external audits, including documentation and data analysis
* Analyse financial information and report findings to internal stakeholders
* Build strong working relationships across finance and the wider business
More About You
* CPA or CA qualified, or near completion
* Proven experience in a financial accounting role
* Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Strong time management skills with the ability to meet competing deadlines
* Excellent analytical and problem‐solving skills
* Experience extracting, analysing and reporting on financial data
