Duration: 6 months Fixed Term Role with possibility of Extension
A Dell Boomi Developer designs, develops, and manages API-led integrations using the Boomi iPaaS platform to connect applications and automate workflows. They map data, configure processes, troubleshoot errors, and ensure secure data flow across cloud and on-premise systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Integration Development: Build, test, and deploy Boomi processes (AtomSphere) to integrate SaaS, on-premise, and cloud applications.
* Data Mapping & Transformation: Utilize Boomi's mapping components to transform data between different formats (XML, JSON, CSV).
* API Management: Design, secure, and publish APIs to enable seamless communication between services.
* Technical Optimization: Configure and optimize integration processes to enhance scalability and efficiency.
* Support & Monitoring: Perform routine application monitoring, troubleshoot integration issues, and maintain existing workflows.
* Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Boomi Expertise: Proven experience with Dell Boomi AtomSphere (often preferred: Certified Boomi Developer).
* Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Web Services, APIs (REST/SOAP), and data formats (JSON, XML).
* Middleware Experience: Experience in middleware, ETL, and enterprise application integration patterns.
* Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting abilities to resolve complex integration errors.
* Communication: Excellent communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders.
Common Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
* Relevant experience (often 2+ years) in integration development.
* Experience with cloud-native environments (e.g., Azure)
