About The Role
This position aims to support evidence-based care for the treatment and management of mental illness and the occupational therapy needs for parents and babies presenting to NSW health services in public settings.
This position provides evidence based Occupational Therapy assessment, treatment and interventions in the specialised field of perinatal mental health. Patients/clients/consumers will be seen individually and in groups for treatment. The Occupational Therapist will be expected to work as a member of the clinical team at the Parents & babies Unit.

Ideal Candidate
Bachelor or post graduate degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA, with experience at Level 2 or higher.Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of Occupational Therapy.Demonstrated high level verbal, written and interpersonal skills, including the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
