About your role:
We are expanding our team and seek an experienced, dynamic Occupational Therapist eager to make a difference and contribute to best practices. You will bring expertise, maturity, and strong time management and organizational skills.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing an allocated caseload based on your negotiated hours and delivering timely therapeutic services with the support of an OTA.
* Assessing participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical functions through clinical observations and standardized assessments.
* Interpreting findings to develop participant-specific treatment goals.
* Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to enhance participants' quality of life.
* Mentoring and supporting early career clinicians.
* Maintaining awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance.
About you:
To succeed, you will have:
* Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills.
* A proactive attitude and a desire for continuous skill development.
* Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists.
* A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
