About the role
This is a 9 month fixed term contract in a cohesive and flexible team environment. Must have prior experience in a professional services environment.
Key Accountabilities
Fortnightly payroll
* Assist with payroll and benefits
* Assist the payroll manager with maintaining payroll information, including entering daily absentees, leave and any notifications to employee master file changes
* Assist the payroll manager with the on‐boarding of New Starters on MySite and PayGlobal, Super Choice and AIA report for TPD/GSC
* Assist the payroll manager with fortnightly payroll processing, including any data entry of allowances and deductions
* Assist the payroll manager with calculating timesheets for casual employees
* Check payroll processing transactions for fortnightly pays and any manual pays
* Assist the payroll manager with distribution of payslips through MySite
* Assist with scanning and filing all payroll documentation to employee files
* Assist with ad‐hoc HR reporting
* Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential
Project support
With the implementation of the new HRIS/Payroll system underway, we would like project admin support including:
* Support in the production of requirements, technical details, workflows and user processes
* Create payroll process, business and technical artefacts
* Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to deliver payroll & HR system solutions as we migrate from MYOB to Dayforce
* Support the project team with data migration and help to ensure data integrity
Also, there would be some testing required of the new system which the payroll administrator would assist with.
Essential Competencies
* Experience working as a payroll officer in a similar professional services or suitably corporate environment
* Previous experience in payroll systems, preferably Payglobal and Dayforce
* Proficient in data entry
* Attention to detail
* High level of proficiency in Excel
* Ability to work autonomously
* Experience working to deadlines
* Ability to prioritise tasks
* Ability to adapt to changing needs of business
* Maintain confidentiality at all times
