Job Overview
We are seeking an exceptional Sales Manager to lead our Rural Products team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of rural products operations and driving growth through sales targets and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
* Manage sales performance, including inventory management, debtor arrangements, and stock turns.
* Oversee branch staffing requirements, including recruitment, rostering, training, and performance management.
* Nurture and grow the sales team to achieve targets, upskill capabilities, and provide value-added training with suppliers.
* Provide exceptional customer service and advice on rural products while introducing new product lines.
* Assist in developing and implementing retail strategies, including key sales campaigns and activities.
About You
* Experience leading dynamic sales teams and a background in agronomy or the rural industry.
* Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret and prepare profit and loss reports.
* Passion for building strong relationships, both internally and externally, and creating a positive and collaborative team environment.
* Proficiency in using Microsoft software and operating point-of-sale systems.
* Understanding of agriculture products, seasonal requirements, and market trends.
