Reporting to the Production Manager, based in our Harvey Fresh Griffith Plant. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work with a team that can bring a diverse range of skills to the table. During our peak season from May to October, there's ample overtime opportunities available for those looking to bolster their earnings before Christmas! We are now seeking a pro‐active Production Operator who is ready to make a positive impact to our team. The position is full‐time.
Responsibilities
* Perform duties of manual nature.
* Plan and organise own work tasks, sorting out priorities and monitoring own performance.
* Meet scheduling outcomes; identify and report issues affecting work outcomes.
* Maintain health and safety work area for self and others.
* Follow quality control procedures, inspect quality of work on an ongoing basis and accept responsibility for quality of their own work.
* Maintain food safety and GMP standards.
* Operate supplied equipment.
About you
* Have experience in food manufacturing industry, specifically in production area.
* Desirable experience in fresh juice.
* Good communication skills.
* Have flexibility for working in rotating Monday to Saturday roster and for overtime.
* Physically fit for labour‐intensive hands‐on work.
* Hygiene standards knowledge and experience.
