WORK HEALTH AND SAFETY OFFICER

ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to an internal restructure this role will start as part time with a view to full time in the future.
Carer's Network requires an experienced WHS Officer to join our business. You will play an integral role in increasing greater awareness of health and safety within in-home care environments.
The core component of your role will be the ability to liaise and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. You'll need excellent written and oral communication skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
Promote a culture of safety awareness
Manage the coordination, investigation, reporting and finalisation of workplace Incidents
Responsible for data input including internal management systems and external portals
Responsible for maintaining current workplace health and safety P&P's including COVID-19 mandatory reporting
Keep up to date with legislative requirements
Manage the WHS component of Meetings, Training, and Inductions
Proactive role in advising on Risk Management
Coordinating Return to Work programs
YOU WILL NEED
NDIS Worker Screen Check/National Police Check
Covid-19 Proof of Vaccination including a mandatory booster
A confident, client & solutions focused approach to your work
Qualifications in Workplace Health and Safety or a minimum of 2 years experience.
Remuneration will be commensurate with experience.
