Advanced Practitioner
Role Overview:
This Advanced Practitioner role is responsible for managing a caseload of complex and high-risk individuals who have committed offences. The ideal candidate will possess excellent risk assessment and management skills, as well as the ability to motivate and influence staff in best case management practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a caseload of complex and high-risk individuals
* Motivate and influence staff in best case management practice
* Produce written reports with appropriate analysis and recommendations to senior stakeholders
* Apply sound judgement in the identification and assessment of individual risk
* Develop and maintain relationships with cross-government and community-based stakeholders
Additional responsibilities include conducting risk assessments, preparing case plans, providing interventions, and proactively challenging offending behaviours. The successful candidate will also be responsible for addressing the underlying factors in offending while directing and monitoring compliance with court order obligations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Demonstrated experience and knowledge of best practice case management frameworks including managing clients with complex presentations and conducting risk and needs assessments in a human services context.
* Ability to implement theoretical concepts to reduce risk and maximise individual outcomes.
* Demonstrated understanding and capability in leading, managing, and developing staff responsible for operational service delivery.
* Pays attention to words, expression, and body language; recognises behaviours that promote a culture of inclusion.
