Role Description
This volunteer Systems Administrator role involves maintaining and managing IT systems and networks to ensure the smooth functioning of The THRIVE Project's digital linux cloud based infrastructure. Core responsibilities include system administration (mail, web, proxy, devops), troubleshooting issues, providing technical support, and ensuring the security and reliability of IT systems. The role is hybrid, located in Brisbane, QLD, with the possibility of working remotely. Minimum of 5 years experience.
Qualifications
* Knowledge of System Administration and Network Administration tasks
* Expertise in Troubleshooting and providing Technical Support
* Background in Information Technology, with a focus on maintaining secure and efficient systems
* Familiarity with machine learning, data analytics, or sustainability-related tools is a plus
* Proactive problem-solving mindset and excellent communication skills
* Ability to work collaboratively in a global hybrid environment
* Relevant certifications or experience in IT or systems management are advantageous
