Southport Sharks is seeking a casual Social Media Coordinator to bring our brands to life online. Connecting our community through vibrant content, authentic storytelling, and a keen eye for what's trending.
As part of our Marketing team, you'll curate and publish dynamic content that showcases our venues, events, food & beverage offerings, and club culture. You'll help shape the voice of Southport Sharks across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and beyond, inspiring engagement and driving visitations.
What you'll do:
* Create, schedule, and manage on-brand content across multiple social platforms
* Collaborate with our Marketing, Design, and Football Media teams to share stories that connect
* Engage with our online community and respond to feedback in a way that builds loyalty
* Track performance metrics and share insights to continually improve reach and engagement
* Stay ahead of social trends and platform updates to keep our content fresh and relevant
What you'll bring:
* Experience in social media, digital communications, or content creation
* Strong knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Google Business Profile
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
* Proficiency in Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud, plus familiarity with WordPress
* Energy, initiative, and the flexibility to support evening or weekend events when required
