The Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced and visionary Product Design Manager to lead the design team for our Exchange division. This is a unique opportunity to guide the design strategy for products that power our global trading platform, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and directly influencing the user experience of millions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product designers focused on the Exchange platform across mobile and web
* Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design quality and consistency across all touchpoints
* Drive the end-to-end design process from research and ideation to execution and validation
* Create and contribute to product designs that set direction and align with strategic goals
* Facilitate team rituals such as design critiques, planning sessions, and collaborative workshops
* Champion a user-centered design approach by conducting and guiding user research, usability testing, and synthesizing feedback into actionable insights
* Present and advocate for design decisions with senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners
* Ensure seamless delivery of design solutions that meet technical feasibility and product timelines
* Actively use and trade on the Exchange platform to spot design improvements and elevate the overall experience
Requirements:
* Must be an active trader with 2+ years of experience in a top-tier trading team
* Proven expertise in product design with a strong portfolio showcasing B2C digital product work
* Deep understanding of user-centered design, design thinking, and UX principles
* Demonstrated success in leading and developing design teams with a focus on growth and collaboration
* Experience managing complex projects in a fast-paced, agile environment
* Ability to balance business objectives with design excellence and user needs
* Strong communication and presentation skills, with an ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
* Proficient in modern design tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) and workflows
* Passion for crypto, finance, or fintech is a big plus
