works on new and refurbishment projects for many respectable clients such as: Storage King, Woolworths, Coles, McDonalds, NSW Government, Aldi, Hungry Jack's etc.
We are seeking a new project manager who is motivated, detail-oriented and has a passion for delivering high quality work to join our professional team.
Responsibilities
Managing a team of Senior Plumbers and apprentices to ensure all projects run smoothly and are thoroughly planned out.
Mentor junior plumbers and apprentices to develop skills as well as up-skill senior plumbers.
Assist with scheduling so all employees are working efficiently.
Track construction schedules and budget.
Gather best pricing and on-time delivery of materials from vendors and suppliers.
Ensure each project is completed safely, on-time, and under budget.
Meet with clients, project engineers and coordinate with on-site Superintendents for field manpower and materials.
Build and maintain a strong relationship with builders, other tradespeople and clients.
Assist with project design and changes throughout projects.
Manage quality insurance systems and project compliance.
Assist with input into company systems and processes to ensure complete efficiency.
Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate and deliver complex construction projects on time and within budget
Strong understanding of plumbing industry regulations, codes and best practices
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficient in the use of project management software and tools, previous experience in SimPro and Procore would be an advantage
Strong OH&S focus
Excellent attention to detail
Hands on approach and ability to work in a close team environment
