What are we looking for?
Our Melbourne office is now seeking a Lawyer to join their well-established Medical Law team on a Full Time basis.
Our Lawyers in the Medical Law teams across the country, assist clients who are impacted by medical negligence (also known as medical malpractice). This is the failure from a health-care provider, including GPs and specialists, to treat clients with reasonable skill and care, causing an injury as a result.
You will work within a supportive and encouraging team environment that specialises in Medical Negligence Law. You can expect to be guided and mentored throughout your career, this is a true opportunity to develop your skills. Critical to the role will be forging strong links with internal and external stakeholders.

Day to day duties will include:
* Management of a file load
* Liaising with clients in an empathetic manner
* Preparing legal correspondence
* Providing clear, practical and concise legal and commercial advice to clients
* Continually exploring new opportunities for your practice and developing new business
