About the Role:
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of building projects, including pre-design, design, documentation, contract administration, and post-construction activities. The position requires a professional with proven ability in stakeholder management, contract coordination, and project financial control. The role is ideal for someone who thrives on accountability, collaboration, and achieving high-quality outcomes within scope, time, cost, and quality parameters.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and manage all aspects of building projects from planning through to completion
* Lead and coordinate project staff, external consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve project objectives
* Provide high-level contract administration across both traditional and non-traditional contract systems
* Engage with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities to ensure value-for-money solutions are delivered
* Monitor and report on project performance, including scope, cost, time, cash flow, and quality outcomes
* Control project variances through exception reporting and conduct audits to assess performance
* Assist in determining project fees and approvals for billing
* Contribute professional expertise to stakeholder negotiations and project discussions
* Other duties as required
Mandatory Requirements:
* Strong background in project management with demonstrated experience in building and construction projects
* Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office Suite
* Excellent organisational, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills
* Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes under pressure
* You must have full Australian working rights to be considered for this position
Highly Desirable:
* Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, Town Planning, or Quantity Surveying
