This is an opportunity to work as a Clinical Senior Social Worker (AHP3) within Southern Fleurieu Health Service, supporting services across the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. The 0.7 FTE position offers flexibility and the ability to balance advanced clinical responsibilities with strategic and professional leadership. You will play a key role in service development, workforce capability, and clinical governance across both community and hospital settings, while providing clinical supervision, mentoring, and professional support to Social Workers and allied health staff. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Clinical Senior Social Worker (AHP3) who: Holds an approved qualification in Social Work and is eligible for full membership of the AASW Demonstrates extensive clinical experience across community and/or acute health settings, ideally including rural practice Has a proven ability to provide clinical leadership, supervision, and mentoring to social work and allied health staff Possesses strong skills in service development, quality improvement, and change management Is a confident communicator who builds effective relationships across multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders Demonstrates a strong commitment to culturally safe, person-centred care and professional excellence If you have answered yes to any of these questions - then read on HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE? In this role, you will: Provide advanced clinical social work services and expert consultation for complex and high-risk cases Lead and support clinical supervision frameworks, ensuring professional standards and workforce capability are maintained Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of service models, clinical protocols, and workforce initiatives Work collaboratively with managers, clinicians, and external partners to improve quality, safety, and integration of services Support education, training, research, and quality improvement activities across the network Represent Social Work at local, regional, and network forums as required WHAT WILL WE OFFER YOU IN RETURN?
