Overview
We’re seekingaPitTechnician to join an active gold operation on a short-term contract (3 swings only).
This is a excellent opportunity to gain exposure in a busy open pit mine, working with geologists, surveyors, and production supervisors as part of the Mine Technical Services team.
Responsibilities
- Blasthole and face sampling, prep, and dispatch
- Marking ore/waste boundaries and assisting with dig plans
- ROM stockpile management and ore spotting to minimize dilution
- Survey pickups, pit mark-ups, and compliance checks
- Monitoring pit conditions and reporting hazards
- Accurate data and sample recording
Roster & Location
- FIFO from Perth
- 8 days on/6 days off
- Contract length: 3 swings
