The Supporting Recovery Program is designed to work with participants to address key areas that support people who have mental health issues so they can participate in their communities.
As a professional, you will provide direct practical support to participants that help them regain keep and improve skills including self-management skills.
You will also support participants to identify and nurture natural supports that sustain recovery and assist in the development of self-management skills.
Responsibilities
* Provide direct practical support to participants to regain keep and improve skills including self-management skills.
* Support participants to identify and nurture natural supports that sustain recovery.
* Engage with families and communities to support the participant's recovery goals.
* Develop and monitor recovery plans in collaboration with participants.
Qualifications
* Relevant qualifications or commensurate experience in working in a support role for people with a mental illness generally a tertiary level qualification in Mental Health or Community Services.
* Current valid Driver's License and the ability to undertake travel for the role.
* Satisfactory Police Records Check issued within the last 12 months.
* Working with Children Check.
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate free online course.
* NDIS Worker Screening Check.
