About the Role
The primary purpose of a Lineworker is to construct, install, and maintain, whilst working as part of a team, our clients' distribution electricity networks ensuring the integrity of the network is maintained in a safe, reliable, and affordable manner.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Study and interpret technical drawings and network line diagrams.
* Undertake the construction and maintenance of electricity distribution networks according to Company Policies, Quality Systems, and HSE procedures as well as statutory requirements.
* Emergency response on high/low voltage distribution assets.
About You
The successful applicant will possess a strong technical knowledge and experience working on overhead and underground line networks along with exposure to external best practice methods in a comparable environment.
* Hold a current VIC Electrical Licence and Cert III in Line Worker.
* Valid Australian Drivers Licence (heavy vehicle highly desirable).
* White/Blue card.
* The incumbent may be required to travel within the state including overnight or longer stays as required and conduct work outdoors in various types of weather.
