Your Key Responsibilities: As an economist, you will deliver real-world solutions across a wide range of public and private engagements, including:
* Conducting economic assessments and modelling on the pressing issues facing businesses and government in Australia and around the world.
* Performing cutting-edge economic appraisals, including cost-benefit analysis and economic impact assessments to guide decision making.
* Providing policy, strategic and regulatory advice in key areas of the economy like energy, resources, trade, tax, human services and the environment.
* Liaising with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
Skills And Attributes For Success: Degree qualified in a relevant discipline with over 1-3 years of experience. Proven experience in client-facing roles, with excellent report writing, communication, and presentation skills. Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to research issues and provide advice on policy, program guidelines, market trends, and industry practices.
