Director of Early Childhood Regulation
This pivotal leadership role is situated within the Northern Territory's regulatory authority responsible for administering the National Quality Framework for early childhood and school-aged education and care services.
The Director will contribute to ensuring all children receive the highest standards of early years education and care by guiding complex regulatory decisions, shaping policy, and building strong partnerships with local and national stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading a team committed to positive outcomes for children across the Territory
* Interpreting and administering legislative requirements
* Cultivating strong working relationships and managing human resources matters
* Negotiating and effectively influencing diverse groups to establish commitment on agreed outcomes
Requirements:
* Proven management and leadership skills and experience leading teams
* Demonstrated experience in interpreting and administering legislative requirements
* High-level written, oral and interpersonal skills
* Ability to operate in politically sensitive environments
* Proven ability to deliver outcomes within tight deadlines, to high standards with attention to detail
