TGT is a locally owned and operated Hardware, Agricultural and Rural business located in Mareeba, Far North Queensland. We are currently seeking applications for a Retail Sales / Yardsperson to help support and join our Hardware Branch team on a full time basis, to provide our valued customers with quality service and our dedicated Yards Team with some moral support.
Our Hardware Branch in Mareeba is one of our busiest locations, supporting the needs of our local community with a wide range of tools, building supplies, home improvement products, and rural hardware essentials. No two days are the same.
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Retail Sales / Yardsperson position involves:
* Assist customers with product enquiries and purchases on the shop floor
* Stock handling and inventory control in the warehouse
* Working with the dedicated Yards team to assist with loading / unloading trucks using a Forklift
Applicants will need to have:
* A high risk Forklift (FL) licence (essential)
* Excellent interpersonal skills and good physical fitness
* Be highly motivated
* A ability to build an exceptional rapport with customers
* Show attention to detail
* Be committed to workplace health and safety
The successful candidate will be required to work a Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm with participation in a rotating Saturday morning roster.
Forklift license is essential. Local candidates are preferred.
