Our mission
We partner with children, young people, and their communities to deliver personalised, inclusive, and therapuetic care. We empower every young person to be valued, heard, and supported in leading their own life, through the provision of allied health, youth residential care, support coordination, and lifestyle support services.
Work Hours
We provide 24/7 care, as well as community access. Shifts are based on a rotating roster. These may include:
Day shifts: Monday to Sunday, between 6:00am – 8:00pm
Short shifts: Ranging from 2 to 6 hours
Sleepover shifts
Flexible hours, including early starts from 6:00am
This role begins on a casual basis, with the potential to transition to a part-time contract after a successful 3-month review period, subject to client matching and consistent shift availability.
The role
No two days are the same
A typical day might involve:
* Assisting clients with their daily general activities, including personal care and meal preparation, while also facilitating community access and engagement in goal-oriented activities.
* Implementing approved behaviour support strategies to address challenging behaviours and maintain communication with your team to ensure holistic care and progress towards individualised goals.
* Throughout the day, you will prioritise the client's autonomy, dignity, and overall well-being, fostering a supportive environment that empowers clients to achieve their fullest potential.

Requirements
* Experience with TBI
* Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability or Aged Care) or Community Services or willingness to actively complete.
* Working with Children Check (Paid status) or willingness to obtain.
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (Paid status) or willingness to obtain.
* QLD Australian C Class Driver's License with comprehensive car insurance and registration.
* Current First Aid and CPR Certificates or willingness to obtain.
