About the Role
This position involves working as a person-centred Occupational Therapist within a transdisciplinary team to enhance the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support adults, older adults and their families in achieving maximum independence and participation in daily activities.
* Provide individual and group OT training/intervention programs tailored to each client's needs.
* Assess and train clients in the use of assistive devices and equipment for everyday tasks.
* Offer advice on low-vision techniques and strategies to improve occupational performance and quality of life.
Requirements:
* Nationally recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy.
* Current registration with a relevant health practitioner agency.
* Knowledge and skills in working with children and young people.
* Teamwork and passion for supporting people to live life on their own terms.
