Support project cost management, asset capitalisation, and financial reporting in a collaborative environment.
Our client is looking for a skilled professional who has expertise in project cost control and financial reporting who is looking to make a real impact. We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to manage and enhance cost control processes across large-scale projects.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and deliver system-based monthly and ad-hoc project cost reports for management.
- Drive continuous improvement of efficient project cost control processes.
- Provide administrative support, including processing project change notices, reconciling data in Excel, and ensuring Power BI health checks.
- Support capitalisation of fixed assets and project closeouts within the master data system.
- Act as a key contact for cost control personnel, managing cost forecasting, accruals, reporting, and change management activities.**
**About You**:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CA accreditation highly regarded).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of SAP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to present clear financial insights.
- Excellent time management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in project accounting and major asset capitalisation within large organisations (desirable)
