**Your new role**
We have an exciting new opportunity for an Administrative Officer to join the National Resilience and Security (NRAS) team. In this role, you will be a core team member, working collaboratively to manage day-to-day administrative activities. You will also serve as the main point of contact for the NRAS office and provide comprehensive support to senior staff, including the Director, NRAS.
**In this role, you will**:
- Provide interpretation and advice on the area's processes and procedures to staff within and outside the NRAS Program Office.
- Coordinate arrangements for meetings, and local area events and, if relevant, manage the commitments and diaries of senior staff.
- Coordinate the content, publishing and distribution of reports and other documentation, as required. (e.g. briefing papers, minutes, agenda papers, marketing collateral and general correspondence).
- Liaise and work collaboratively with a variety Curtin University stakeholders to support the needs of the NRAS team.
- Coordinate arrangements for meetings, events, team travel and executive visits.
- Demonstrated computer literacy with proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite and content management systems (experience with JIRA is desired).
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities with high attention to detail.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders and demonstrate cross-cultural sensitivity.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and in a team.
**Essential Requirements**:
- **This role would normally be restricted to, and require you to maintain, Australian Citizenship. Consideration may be given to citizens of New Zealand, United States, Canada, or United Kingdom who have, or recently maintained a security clearance, if the clearance can be recognised by AGSVA.**
