The Team: Seeking enthusiastic Allied Health Assistants to join our Allied Health team. The Role: The Allied Health Assistant-Multidisciplinary assists with the daily functioning of Physiotherapy Services and Allied Health across the Southern Region of Tasmania in the provision of effective and efficient client care. They will exercise initiative and independent judgement in undertaking delegated tasks, under the direct and/or indirect supervision from physiotherapists, occupational therapists and other allied health professionals. This will include working within the areas of Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy and may include other allied health services. The Allied Health Assistant role will include assisting clinicians in the rehabilitation and/or treatment of clients, including the transportation of patients to and from treatment areas, preparation of equipment for use in treatment and other related tasks. This role will suit: Someone interested in allied health or rehabilitation, including students or graduates seeking hands on experience supporting patients in hospital or community settings. A practical, organised team player who enjoys working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and can balance clinical support with administrative tasks. A caring and adaptable individual with strong communication skills, a commitment to safety and quality care, and a genuine interest in supporting diverse patients to achieve positive health outcomes. Details of appointment: Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Salary: $67,193 to $72,196 per annum our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022 Salary Packaging: You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year other benefits if eligible.
