**Kurrawa Surf Club **are currently seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and highly motivated **Human Resources / Duty Manager** to join our team.

**About the position...**
As part of our Management Team this role offers an excellent opportunity for an adaptable and dynamic individual to seek a rewarding and successful career within our iconic surf club.
The **Human Resources Manager** will be responsible for the development and implementation of polices and procedures with a core focus on the development of a strong workplace culture.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide operational and strategic HR advise, coaching and guidance on a range of complex and sensitive HR related matters including; employee relations, legislation and performance management
- Contribute and leading the development of HR strategies, reports, projects and procedures
- Meet legislative / business requirements
- Managing cases relating to WHS, Worker's Compensation, Return to Work
- Providing coaching, guidance and support to all staff

- Formal qualification required
- Experience as a Duty Manager within a venue will be highly regarded
- Effective problem-solving skills, high level of initiative and excellent communication skills
- Proven experience in supporting the broader HR function and business across performance management, counselling and coaching, developing and consulting on HR policies, recruitment & retention
- Previous experience in a similar role within a Hospitality environment is essential
