About the Project
The LEXICAL project focuses on various typologically diverse languages and language domains, showcasing its versatility for different NLP applications. As a skilled professional with strong programming abilities and experience in NLP and/or machine learning, you will be responsible for:
* Developing a computational framework for lexical acquisition
* Transferring lexical information across languages without parallel resources
* Demonstrating the framework's effectiveness for NLP applications
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have a Master's degree (first-class distinction) in computational linguistics, AI, computer science, or a related field, completed by 30 September. Previous experience with joint learning and inference is highly advantageous.
